International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions Announces Winners of IFLA Green Library Award 2022

The winners of the IFLA Green Library Award 2022 are:
Category “Best Green Library”
Singapore, National Library Board Singapore—“Revamp of Choa Chu Kang Public Library”Category “Best Green Library Project”
France, Paris, Médiathèque de la Canopée-la fontaine—“La Médiathèque de la Canopée : a Pilot Library for Sustainable Development for the Parisian Network”Both winners will receive award certificates, signed by ENSULIB Chair and Secretary.
A special recognition goes to
Colombia, Cali, Comuna 1 Cultural Center Public Library—“The Neighborhood Path”This project was carried out with minimal resources but has a big impact. The Comuna 1 Cultural Center Public Library will receive an award certificate and, to further their project, 500€ generously sponsored by the German publishing house de Gruyter.

- France, Médiathèque Mouezh ar gallon, Tourc’h—“A Shared Garden Library to Develop Biodiversity”
- Norway, Lier, Lier bibliotek—“The Fish That Take Root”
All short-listed runners-up will receive certificates, signed by ENSULIB Chair and Secretary.
The competition was extremely hard. All short-listed submissions were worthy of being honoured as “winners”, but only two could be selected in the end.
