OCLC Research Survey on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion from OCLC
Session Abstract
Between September 12 and October 13 of 2017, OCLC surveyed current Research Library Partners, with the intention of obtaining a snapshot of the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) efforts within the Partnership that could inform specific follow-up activities that could provide assistance and better inform practice. We were pleased that 63 Partners in nine countries responded to the survey. A summary of results served as a framework for discussions with Research Partners at a November 2017 meeting in Baltimore, Maryland.
This paper will share survey results which show where the global network of OCLC RLP institutions are investing and what they are finding most challenging and also discuss possible areas for collaborative investment.
