New FAIFE Spotlight Released: “The Library and Freedom of Information Revisited”
From the International Federation of Library Associations:
During this spring and summer several new FAIFE [Committee on Freedom of Access to Information and Freedom of Expression] Spotlights will be released as a result of good international cooperation and impact of the Finnish research project led by Professor Kai Ekholm and granted by Helsingin Sanomain Säätiö, a media foundation in Finland.
Professor emeritus and long time chair of FAIFE Paul Sturges and the secretary of the Serbian Library Association Vesna Crnogorac have contributed FAIFE Spotlight with this much wanted retrospective to the recent history of FAIFE and the outcome of several countries.
It is titled The Library and Freedom of Information Revisited
